Downpour cancels Emerald City Softball games
Downpour cancels Emerald City Softball games
by Nick Bowen - SGN Contributing Writer

The Emerald City Softball Association (ECSA) Open Division games this past Sunday were completely washed out due to the large amount of rainfall this last weekend. The games slated for play this last weekend on Sunday, July 22nd, have been rescheduled for this coming Saturday, July 28th.

The World Series Berth Tournament for the Open 'B' and Open 'C' divisions will take place on Sunday, July 29th as scheduled. This means a full slate of games at North SeaTac Park on Saturday and Sunday and a playoff atmosphere all weekend at the fields. Come root on your favorite teams and join the fun, as the final division standings for the 2007 season are determined, and teams vie for the final World Series berths and a chance to play for the national title in Phoenix this coming October!

If you can't make it out to the fields this weekend, you can always follow all the action on their website at www.emeraldcitysoftball.org.
