Viva La Raza
booksigning
New Freeway Hall
May 3
If you're marching in the anti-war and pro-immigration marches this week, you'll probably be in the spirit for more celebrating workers' rights and the possibility of more rights for immigrant workers. If so, you can continue your May Day activities by coming to the booksigning and party for Viva La Raza, the book detailing Chicano identity and resistance by Megan Cornish at New Freeway Hall.
The booksigning and discussion with remarks by Radical Women member Megan Cornish will be followed by a festive dinner, featuring a chicano themed menu, including chicken mole. As always there will be time for audience participation after, so do stick around to network and discuss upcoming events. For more information on ride share, call 206-722-6057.
